This policy explains what happens to your data when you use GameRevParser, provided by Arnold Rauers ("I", "me"). Questions can be sent to hello@arnoldrauers.com.

This tool doesn't require an account. It uses Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how the site is used. It only runs after you accept non-essential cookies in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, it doesn't run, and you can still use every feature of the tool.

Files you upload are processed only to generate the report you asked for and are not intentionally kept afterward.

Like any website, the server that runs this tool automatically records basic technical information for each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is standard practice used for security and troubleshooting, and is not linked to any account or profile since none exists.

This site uses two cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work and can't be turned off: one keeps your browser session active, and one protects the upload forms from cross-site attacks. Both expire automatically after a couple of hours and are never used for tracking or advertising.

If you accept the cookie banner, this site also sets cookies from Google Analytics to measure visits. You can decline these instead, or change your mind at any time using "Cookie preferences" on the Terms of Service page. Your cookie choice, along with your light/dark appearance preference, is saved in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to the server.

Your files are never sold or shared. If you accept analytics cookies, some technical data (such as your IP address and how you use the site) is shared with Google as part of running Google Analytics, under Google's own privacy policy. Google may process this data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States, under its standard contractual safeguards. Beyond that, and the infrastructure that runs this website, your data isn't shared with third parties.

Since this tool keeps so little personal data, there is little to request. You still have the right to ask what, if anything, is held about you and to have it deleted, and you can withdraw analytics consent at any time via "Cookie preferences" on the Terms of Service page. Contact hello@arnoldrauers.com for either. If you're in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

I may update this policy as the tool changes. The current version always applies.
